Q1: What Should I Do If the Factory Radio Interface Doesn’t Display Correctly?
If the factory radio interface doesn’t appear in the correct scale on your new head unit, follow these steps to adjust the display:
- Go to Settings: Access the settings menu on your head unit.
- Navigate to System: Tap on ‘System’ to find the relevant options.
- Select Setting Guide: Choose the ‘Setting Guide’ option from the system menu.
- Enter Car Model: Locate the ‘Car Model’ setting.
- Enter Passcode: When prompted, enter the passcode 666888 to unlock the car model settings.
- Choose Your Car Model: Select the appropriate model for your car from the list provided.
Once these steps are completed, the display should fit your screen perfectly.
Q2: What Should I Do If I Lose My Factory Radio System or Touchscreen Functionality?
If you experience a loss of your factory radio system or touchscreen functionality, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
- Download the Patch: Download the necessary patch file from this link: [Patch2407]
- Connect via USB: Use a USB drive to transfer the patch file to your head unit. (Please save the file to the root directory, and do not change the file name.)
- Go to Settings: Access the settings menu on your head unit.
Navigate to Upgrade: Select ‘Upgrade’ from the settings menu. - Choose Upgrade Type: Depending on your issue, select either ‘Simple Upgrade’ or ‘Protocol Upgrade.’
- Install the Patch: The patch will begin installing. Once it’s completed, proceed to the next step.
- Power Off Your Car: Turn off your car for 10 minutes.
- Restart Your Car: After 10 minutes, restart your car. The head unit will reboot, and the problem should be resolved.
Open System Settings:
- Option 1: Swipe down from the top to see menu pop up and change the internet options directly.
- Option 2: Go to Settings, then select the System tab, followed by Android System. You will find the internet settings there.
Choose Your Connection Method:
- Wi-Fi: Connect to a Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks.
- Hotspot: Connect to a mobile hotspot if you have one available.
- SIM Card: Insert your data-only SIM card into the SIM socket (a SIM socket harness is provided in the accessory bag).
